Meet the Spokesanimals: Tracker the Hound

Meet our newest Spokesanimal, Tracker the Hound!

Tracker the Hound is a 3-month-old saddleback Bloodhound, the latest addition to the Spokesanimals of ASL Solutions! He's a real charmer. Everywhere he goes, people exclaim how sweet and cute he is. Tracker is very observant of his humans and loves to cuddle with them. Attention, being petted, and being loved on make Tracker a happy pup.

Tracker enjoys his Palace Nursery.

Tracker has been growing extremely quickly. His ears are so long, they fall into his water dish and get soaked. When he's sniffing something on the ground, his ears fold up on the ground, too. (This is extremely cute.) He's definitely getting used to how quickly he's growing   his coordination will soon catch up to him!

When he was really little, he'd sit and wait patiently for the leash to go outside, but now as he's getting older, he's gotten more rambunctious and gets super excited to go outside, and doesn't want to sit still for even two seconds. All that growing and all that energy!

Why just use one bed?

Like Duke, Tracker had to learn to respect the cats through getting smacked by them. Bo still smacks Tracker every day, but Gray has been very tolerant of Tracker's puppyhood. He does try to steal cat food if he gets the chance (but this does not seem to be the reason for the cat smacks).

He used to dutifully follow his humans around, or the neighbor dog/his best friend, Duke. Lately, though, Tracker has been getting more independent, and will run off on his own to go explore. On a related note, his training was going better before toddlerhood   though he does sit, and understands "down", and is jumping on people less. Bloodhounds are known to be stubborn! He's still a super sweet pup.

Ready to go out and explore!

Tracker really likes treats, and one of his favorite things to chew on are pig ears. He's not picky about toys and will play with whatever is around. He really likes his Palace Nursery and the Calming Bed, but he turns the Calming Bed upside down before he sleeps on it.

He really doesn't have many dislikes yet and is just curious about the world and everything in it!

Tracker has gotten into some hijinks with the neighbor dog, Duke. He even stole a small board when one of his humans was building a bridge! He also discovered that somebody buried a bunch of balls in the garden, and he dug it all up to find them. Tracker isn't too big on misbehaving, though, and takes his new job as a Spokesanimal very seriously!

You can see what he's up to on our Facebook page.
