ASL Hosts Richland County CEO

ASL recently hosted the Richland County CEO Program. CEO is an entrepreneurial educational course for area high school seniors and ASL Co-owner Bob Guinn is a board member for the local chapter.




Retired Co-owner Howard Atkison came in to talk about the history of the company and to discuss the importance of protecting intellectual property.  ASL recently took the important step of trademarking the Dog Palace name. 



Plant Manager Charlie Guinn gave the group a tour of the manufacturing facility and warehouse.

The nonprofit Claws & Paws Animal Rescue Center in Olney, Illinois is currently in need of your help! The old storefront A rescue in crisis Claws & Paws Animal Rescue is an animal rescue in Olney, Illinois. It is financially supported by running a thrift store. Unfortunately, the building the resale shop is in (and where most of the animals are housed) was just sold. They have to be out by October 1st of this year. Without the thrift store, there's no money to continue running the rescue. The owner of Claws & Paws , Shelley Brinkley, bought a plot of land and a new building for the animals with her own money, but the building isn't big enough for the resale shop too. Have you ever wondered how exactly insulation works? Sure, it keeps stuff cooler when it's warm and warmer when it's cold, but why? Read on to find out how exactly the insulation in our dog houses works. Our newest palace design, the Colossal Round Barn. How insulation works To understand insulation, you must first understand heat flow . Heat flow occurs in three main ways: conduction, which is how heat moves through materials (like when you touch a cast iron skillet that's been on the stove for awhile); convection, or the way heat circulates through liquids and gases (like when you're boiling water, and the water on the bottom of the pan closest to the heat source gets warm, so it rises, and is replaced with the cooler water from the top, and the cycle goes on); and radiation, where the source heats anything in its path that absorbs energy (like when you warm your hands over a fire). Summer 2023 Product Launch: Cat Palace, Palace Nursery, and Calming Beds, Oh My!

ASL Solutions has been cooking up some surprises for a long time, and we are excited to finally be able to share them with you! Welcome to our Summer 2023 product launch. We are releasing a new line of products dedicated to our feline friends: the Cat Palace, the Palace Kitten Nursery, and completely revamped, faux fur beds for each size of Palace. Cat Palace Gray's got a pretty sweet setup. If you've got outdoor cats, the Cat Palace is just the thing for you.
